**How does the opening three minutes of 'Heroes' compare to typical TV title sequences?**

How does the opening three minutes of 'Heroes' compare to typical TV title sequences?

I will be looking at how the opening 3 minutes of Heroes is and i will compare it to other TV sequences .

All TV programmes have different intro's and outro's. In this TV programme the title is shown at the begining. Programmes such as My wife and kids does not show any music but only the logo. The logo of the Heroes is very eye catchy and is showing that something magical is happening in the letter 'O', this goes with the title Heroes and with the super powers the characterts have.

This programme is very different to others as it recaps at the start of every episode what happend in the last one. This will allow watchers to catch up with what they have missed. This shows that this programme is easy to catch up on if missed, this is unique.

In the opening of the title their are very dull colors used, this shows that there is seriousness and the mood of characters could be very serious and they could be on a mission rather than happy and having fun. This would probably show the genre of the film

By watching an episode, looking at the Heroes logo and watching the opening or recap, a new viewer could tell what type of programme this is.

The programme is very exciting and makes people think 'what is going to happen next' it shows a bit of suspence.

On the episode (chapter2) on the building it is written ' Dont Look Back', this shows suspence and thriller. The main picture of this is to give the man who wants to jump off the building some confidence to tell him he can do it. 'DONT LOOK BACK' shows that if he does look back he might not do it and he might back off.

The male in this episode is shown to be superior. This is what makes this programme different to others and would make people want to watch it. It is a programme which could attract everyone and keep them watching .

The opening sequence of the programme, 'Heroes' shows the different unique ideas and props to make a programme so different and better than others. The programme is very different and could keep someone too into it and at the edge of their seat.
